Therapy

My Approach to therapy

I’m an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of California (AMFT 152066), with a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Antioch University, Los Angeles. My approach is rooted in existential therapy, with a Buddhist twist. I see therapy as a collaborative and evolving process. It’s not about quick fixes or clear-cut answers—I’m not here to repair or prescribe. Instead, I facilitate a space for clarity and genuine self-understanding, which might look like simply asking questions that you might already have the answers for. The work begins with what’s present now, not some distant version of a "better" life.Therapy is about growing through what unfolds. There may be moments of clarity, but more often, it’s a steady, shared process of discovery, reflection, and change.

Would we be a good fit?

I work primarily with LGBTQ+ clients navigating addiction, complicated relationships, communication struggles, and the ongoing challenge of living more authentically. I have an affinity for people questioning their substance use in a substance-saturated world. My background in the Fine Arts lends itself well to being of help to creatives of all genres.
